Digit by Digit - Privacy Policy

The short version

Digit by Digit teaches written arithmetic - long division, column addition, subtraction and multiplication. It is made for children, and it is built to need as little as possible from them: there is no account, no sign-up, and nothing you have to tell us about yourself. The app shows a single banner advert supplied by Google AdMob, and that advert is never personalised.

What We Collect: Nothing

We do not ask for a name, an e-mail address, an account or any other personal information. There is no registration and no sign-in, and we operate no server that could receive anything about you.

What the App Stores on Your Device

So the app can pick up where your child left off, it saves the following in its own private storage on the device:

Which exercise was last practised, and which notation was chosen
Whether vibration is on, the "show me" tempo, and the light or dark setting
How many figures have been answered, how many were wrong, the best run, the mistakes grouped by kind, and a tally per arithmetic fact
Whether ads have been removed by purchase

None of it identifies anybody, and none of it is sent to us. You can erase the counters at any time in Progress → Clear progress, and everything, settings included, by uninstalling the app.

Advertising

The app shows one banner advertisement, supplied by Google AdMob. Because the app is directed to children, it is configured so that:

Ads are never personalised. Every request is marked as child-directed, so Google may not use it to build or draw on an advertising profile
Ad content is limited to Google's "G" (general audiences) rating
The app does not collect the Android advertising identifier. The permissions that would allow it are removed from the app before it is built

Google still processes some technical information in order to serve and measure an ad - for example the approximate region derived from the IP address, the device type and the ad's own performance. What Google does with it is described in Google's own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy and support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543.

If you would rather have no advertising at all, the app sells a one-off purchase that removes the banner permanently.

Consent

Where the law requires it - the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland - the app shows Google's consent form before any ad is requested, and requests none until it has an answer. You can reopen that form at any time in Settings → Privacy options. The practice screens work in full whether you agree or refuse.

The Purchase

"Remove ads" is a single, one-off purchase handled entirely by Google Play. Payment goes to Google; the app never sees a card number, a billing address or a name. All the app keeps is a yes/no answer to "has this been paid for", stored on the device.

Permissions

The app requests internet access (for the banner, the consent form and the purchase), network state, vibration, and the background-work permissions that Google's own libraries bring with them. It does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, files, or the advertising identifier.

Children

This app is directed to children and is distributed under Google Play's Families policy. It shows no personalised advertising, no interstitial or rewarded ads, no videos between exercises and no links to social networks. The one purchase sits behind a question a young child is unlikely to answer - a written multiplication - so that it is not reached by accident.

Since we hold nothing about you, there is nothing for us to show you, correct or delete. For the data Google processes in connection with advertising, use the links above or the privacy controls in your Google account.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date at the top.

Digit by Digit uczy działań pisemnych - dzielenia, dodawania, odejmowania i mnożenia w słupku. Jest zrobiona dla dzieci i celowo wymaga od nich jak najmniej: nie ma konta, nie ma rejestracji i nie trzeba o sobie niczego podawać.

Co zbieramy: nic

Nie pytamy o imię, adres e-mail, konto ani żadne inne dane osobowe. Nie ma rejestracji ani logowania, a my nie prowadzimy serwera, który mógłby cokolwiek o Tobie odebrać.

Co aplikacja zapisuje na urządzeniu

Żeby dziecko mogło wrócić do miejsca, w którym skończyło, aplikacja zapisuje w swojej prywatnej pamięci na urządzeniu:

ostatnio ćwiczone zadanie i wybrany zapis działań,
czy wibracje są włączone, tempo trybu „Nauka" oraz motyw jasny lub ciemny,
ile cyfr zostało wpisanych, ile było błędnych, najdłuższą serię, błędy w podziale na rodzaje i licznik przy każdym działaniu,
czy reklamy zostały usunięte zakupem.

Nic z tego nikogo nie identyfikuje i nic z tego do nas nie trafia. Liczniki możesz w każdej chwili skasować w Postępy → Wyczyść postępy, a wszystko razem z ustawieniami - odinstalowując aplikację.

Reklamy

Aplikacja pokazuje jeden baner reklamowy dostarczany przez Google AdMob. Ponieważ jest kierowana do dzieci, jest skonfigurowana tak, że:

reklamy nigdy nie są spersonalizowane - każde żądanie jest oznaczone jako skierowane do dziecka, więc Google nie może użyć go do budowania ani wykorzystania profilu reklamowego;
treść reklam jest ograniczona do kategorii „G" (dla wszystkich) według klasyfikacji Google;
aplikacja nie zbiera identyfikatora reklamowego Androida. Uprawnienia, które by na to pozwalały, są usuwane z aplikacji jeszcze przed jej zbudowaniem.

Google przetwarza mimo to pewne informacje techniczne potrzebne do wyświetlenia i rozliczenia reklamy - na przykład przybliżony region wynikający z adresu IP, typ urządzenia i skuteczność samej reklamy. Jeśli wolisz w ogóle nie widzieć reklam, w aplikacji jest jednorazowy zakup, który usuwa baner na stałe.

Zgoda

Tam, gdzie wymaga tego prawo - w Europejskim Obszarze Gospodarczym, Wielkiej Brytanii i Szwajcarii - aplikacja pokazuje formularz zgody Google przed pierwszym żądaniem reklamy i nie wysyła żadnego, dopóki nie dostanie odpowiedzi. Formularz można otworzyć ponownie w Ustawieniach → Ustawienia prywatności. Ekrany do ćwiczeń działają w pełni niezależnie od tego, czy zgodę wyrazisz, czy odmówisz.

Zakup

„Usuń reklamy" to jeden jednorazowy zakup obsługiwany w całości przez Google Play. Płatność idzie do Google; aplikacja nigdy nie widzi numeru karty, adresu rozliczeniowego ani nazwiska. Zapisuje tylko odpowiedź „tak/nie" na pytanie, czy zakup został dokonany.

Uprawnienia

Aplikacja prosi o dostęp do internetu (baner, formularz zgody i zakup), o stan sieci, o wibracje oraz o uprawnienia do pracy w tle, które wnoszą ze sobą biblioteki Google. Nie prosi o lokalizację, aparat, mikrofon, kontakty, pliki ani o identyfikator reklamowy.

Dzieci

Aplikacja jest kierowana do dzieci i podlega zasadom Google Play dla rodzin. Nie ma w niej reklam spersonalizowanych, reklam pełnoekranowych ani z nagrodą, filmów między zadaniami ani odnośników do serwisów społecznościowych. Jedyny zakup jest schowany za pytaniem, na które małe dziecko raczej nie odpowie - za działaniem z mnożenia pisemnego - żeby nie dało się do niego trafić przypadkiem.

Twoje prawa

Skoro nie mamy o Tobie żadnych danych, nie mamy Ci czego pokazać, poprawić ani usunąć. W sprawie danych przetwarzanych przez Google w związku z reklamami skorzystaj z odnośników powyżej lub z ustawień prywatności swojego konta Google.

Zmiany

Jeśli ta polityka się zmieni, nowa wersja zostanie opublikowana pod tym samym adresem, z nową datą na górze.

Digit by Digit übt das schriftliche Rechnen - Division, Addition, Subtraktion und Multiplikation. Die App ist für Kinder gemacht und verlangt ihnen bewusst so wenig wie möglich ab: kein Konto, keine Anmeldung, und nichts, was man über sich erzählen müsste.

Was wir erheben: nichts

Wir fragen weder nach einem Namen noch nach einer E-Mail-Adresse, einem Konto oder anderen persönlichen Angaben. Es gibt keine Registrierung und keine Anmeldung, und wir betreiben keinen Server, der etwas über Sie entgegennehmen könnte.

Was die App auf dem Gerät speichert

Damit Ihr Kind dort weitermachen kann, wo es aufgehört hat, speichert die App in ihrem eigenen, privaten Speicher auf dem Gerät:

welche Übung zuletzt dran war und welche Schreibweise gewählt ist,
ob die Vibration an ist, das Tempo im Modus „Zeigen" und die Einstellung hell oder dunkel,
wie viele Ziffern geschrieben wurden, wie viele davon falsch waren, die längste Serie, die Fehler nach Art sortiert und einen Zähler je Rechenaufgabe,
ob die Werbung per Kauf entfernt wurde.

Nichts davon identifiziert jemanden, und nichts davon erreicht uns. Die Zähler lassen sich jederzeit unter Fortschritt → Fortschritt löschen entfernen, alles zusammen mit den Einstellungen durch das Deinstallieren der App.

Werbung nie personalisiert ist - jede Anfrage ist als an Kinder gerichtet markiert, sodass Google sie weder für ein Werbeprofil verwenden noch auf ein solches zurückgreifen darf;
die Werbeinhalte auf Googles Stufe „G" (für alle Altersgruppen) begrenzt sind;
die App die Android-Werbe-ID nicht erhebt. Die Berechtigungen, die das erlauben würden, werden vor dem Bauen der App entfernt.

Google verarbeitet dennoch technische Angaben, die zum Ausliefern und Abrechnen einer Anzeige nötig sind - etwa die grobe Region aus der IP-Adresse, den Gerätetyp und die Leistung der Anzeige selbst. Wenn Sie lieber gar keine Werbung möchten: In der App gibt es einen einmaligen Kauf, der das Banner dauerhaft entfernt.

Einwilligung

Wo das Gesetz es verlangt - im Europäischen Wirtschaftsraum, im Vereinigten Königreich und in der Schweiz - zeigt die App Googles Einwilligungsformular, bevor die erste Anzeige angefordert wird, und fordert keine an, solange keine Antwort vorliegt. Das Formular lässt sich jederzeit unter Einstellungen → Datenschutzeinstellungen erneut öffnen. Die Übungsseiten funktionieren vollständig, ob Sie zustimmen oder ablehnen.

Der Kauf

„Werbung entfernen" ist ein einziger, einmaliger Kauf, der vollständig über Google Play läuft. Die Zahlung geht an Google; die App sieht niemals eine Kartennummer, eine Rechnungsadresse oder einen Namen. Gespeichert wird nur die Ja-oder-Nein-Antwort auf die Frage, ob gekauft wurde.

Berechtigungen

Die App fragt nach Internetzugriff (Banner, Einwilligungsformular und Kauf), nach dem Netzwerkstatus, nach der Vibration und nach den Hintergrund-Berechtigungen, die Googles eigene Bibliotheken mitbringen. Sie fragt nicht nach Standort, Kamera, Mikrofon, Kontakten, Dateien oder der Werbe-ID.

Kinder

Diese App richtet sich an Kinder und fällt unter Google Plays Richtlinie für Familien. Es gibt keine personalisierte Werbung, keine Interstitial- oder Rewarded-Anzeigen, keine Videos zwischen den Aufgaben und keine Links zu sozialen Netzwerken. Der einzige Kauf liegt hinter einer Frage, die ein kleines Kind kaum beantwortet - hinter einer schriftlichen Multiplikation -, damit er nicht aus Versehen erreicht wird.

Da wir nichts über Sie haben, gibt es bei uns nichts vorzuzeigen, zu berichtigen oder zu löschen. Für die Daten, die Google im Zusammenhang mit Werbung verarbeitet, nutzen Sie die Links oben oder die Datenschutzeinstellungen Ihres Google-Kontos.

Änderungen
